WHAT WE DO
The Dare to Innovate Conference for Social Entrepreneurship identifies and propels a country’s most talented entrepreneurial talent to seize social problems as economic opportunities. The Conference culminates with the Business Plan Competition, where the most promising enterprises receive seed funding.
A five-month residency with one-on-one guidance from mentors and experts in both entrepreneurship and agriculture—each agropreneur uses Dare to Innovate’s design thinking-based curriculum to ideate and test agribusiness ideas on a plot of land provided by the program. At the end of the incubation period, the agropreneurs are eligible for seed funding based upon their documented progress and business plan.
The Youth Entrepreneurship Training Program (YETP) is an introductory training course designed for youth interested in learning the basics of entrepreneurship.
Dare to Innovate has created a series of instructional videos on entrepreneurship, designed and optimized for viewing on feature phones. Each short module discusses a basic concept in entrepreneurship following the trajectory of the Youth Entrepreneurship Training Program curriculum.
